Governor of Arizona Doug Ducey appeared outside the state capitol building on Monday afternoon, speaking to a gathering organized by the Job Creators Network and titled "Cut Taxes Now."
Ducey is known for his own policies of reducing the size of government and getting rid of excessive regulations, and has been a supporter of President Donald Trump on most issues, including the need for tax cuts.
Ducey is running for reelection in the 2018 gubernatorial race, and has already garnered two Democratic opponents, including former Superintendent of Public Instruction nominee David Garcia and State Senator Steve Farley.
Although Ducey has always spoken in favor of tax cuts, he made it clear to reporters afterwards that he hopes Congress and the President will take action by the end of this year.
