The 2018 Arizona Manufacturing Summit was held this past week, with U.S. Congressmen Paul Gosar and Tom O'Halleran addressing the group. Jennifer Duffy of the Cook Political Report also spoke at the event, giving her analysis of the upcoming midterm elections.


Awards were also given to several recipients, including State Representative T. J. Shope, Sandra Watson and former Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Jaime Molera.


The Arizona Manufacturing Summit is held annually, and normally features panels, and keynote speeches from lawmakers and leaders in the Phoenix manufacturing community.


The event was held at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in downtown Phoenix, with several hundred guests in attendance, including candidates for Mayor of Phoenix Daniel Valenzuela and Moses Sanchez.
