Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, appeared in Arizona on Thursday evening to promote his latest venture, WozU. The announcement was a part of an event titled "An Evening of Innovation & Celebration" and was held at the Camelback Inn.
In addition to Wozniak, there were several other speakers during the opening of the event, including U.S. Senator Jeff Flake, Eric Crown, Jeffrey Hayzlett, Michael Bidwill, and Kirk Adams, among others.
The evening concluded with an hour-long discussion with Wozniak hosted by Jeffrey Hayzlett, in which Wozniak discussed his life, beginning with the co-founding of one of the largest companies in the world, Apple, and continuing to his most recent ventures, such as WozU.
Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton was also in attendance, and declared the day "The Day of "The Woz" in the city of Phoenix, in honor of Wozniak.
