Vicente Fox, the former President of Mexico, appeared at the 3rd Annual Southwest Cannabis Conference & Expo over the weekend, and spoke extensively about his support for the legalization of marijuana, touring the conference's exhibit floor, and addressing an audience of several hundred marijuana activists.
The expo was a two-day event that took place at the Phoenix Convention Center, and featured several dozen exhibitors, speakers and opportunities for marijuana activists to connect and talk about the business of cannabis.
Vicente Fox first toured the exhibit floor of the conference, visiting many of the booths and posing for pictures with exhibitors and attendees. Fox then spoke to a handful of reporters at a press conference, and then took the main stage with local NBC reporter Brahm Resnik for a question and answer session.
Fox has made headlines in recent months for his confrontational demeanor towards President Donald Trump, stating repeatedly that Mexico will never pay for Trump's proposed border wall.
