The 2019 inauguration of Governor Doug Ducey and statewide officials took place on Monday morning in front of the Arizona State Capitol building.


In addition to Ducey, Katie Hobbs, Mark Brnovich, Kimberly Yee, Kathy Hoffman and Joe Hart were sworn in as Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Superintendent of Public Instruction and Mine Inspector, respectively.


Former Governor Jan Brewer and U.S. Senator Martha McSally were in attendance at the inauguration, while other former Governors were not present.


Ducey listed many of his hopes for his upcoming term, including working together with the now more left-leaning statewide officials, with several offices flipping into Democratic control following the midterm election.
