This past week I had the pleasure of hosting renowned libertarian Julie Borowski, known for her funny and also informative libertarian YouTube videos, at an event for the Glendale Community College Young Americans for Liberty chapter in Glendale, Arizona.


Her first trip to Arizona, there were nearly 200 students and members of the community that packed into a small lecture room on the GCC campus, to listen and ask questions about a whole host of issues related to shrinking the government's influence on the lives of the individual, and current hot topics surrounding the 2016 Presidential election.


Borowski is known for using humor to get her point across, and in one instance prefaced a statement about gun laws as something she thought would sound "radical" to those in attendance. Her proposal was to eliminate gun free zones on college campuses, and allow students to conceal carry, and it actually received a resounding applause from nearly the entire audience, surprising even her.

After her speech, Borowski met with students and took photos with those in attendance.
