Arizona State Treasurer Eileen Klein received the Transformational Leader award at the 2018 Annual Awards luncheon hosted by the Arizona Chamber of Commerce.


The event is held annually, and usually is awarded to a leader in the Arizona community who has made a positive impact on the state.


Former Governor Jan Brewer also attended the event, which was held at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix in downtown.


Klein was appointed by Governor Doug Ducey in April, following the resignation of Treasurer Jeff DeWit, who took a job at NASA.
