U.S. Senator Susan Collins of Maine made an appearance in Phoenix on Wednesday morning, speaking at the 2018 Small Business Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center, along with U.S. Senator Jon Kyl and U.S. Congresswoman Martha McSally.


Collins endorsed the campaign of Congresswoman McSally, who is facing a tough fight against Democratic nominee Kyrsten Sinema.


The event is held annually, with several thousand small business owners and employees attending to discuss various entrepreneurial activities.


Collins made news in recent weeks when she decided to support Brett Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court, a decision which was met with both criticism and praise from liberals and conservatives, respectively.
