President of the United States Donald Trump made an appearance at a Make America Great Again rally held in Mesa, Arizona on Friday evening. The event was held at Mesa Gateway Airport at International Air Response, with several thousand people in attendance, and several thousand more outside the event, unable to get into the venue.


Trump delivered his remarks ahead of the midterm elections, having campaigned in several states with various U.S. Senate candidates in the hopes of retaining the Senate chamber in Republican control.


Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Arizona Martha McSally campaigned with Trump, arriving at the event with the President on Marine One. The two also made a stop at Luke Air Force Base near Glendale prior to the rally.


Trump stressed the importance of going out to vote in the election, as many political pundits have called the results of the upcoming midterms a referendum on the President's first two years in office.
