The 2018 WonderCon was held at the Anaheim Convention Center over the weekend, with the main attraction being the upcoming Warner Bros. film Ready Player One. Most of the cast was on hand to talk about the film, sans director Steven Spielberg. Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke and Ben Medelsohn were among the stars present.


Television took a larger chunk of the main schedule once again this year, with panels from shows such as Fear the Walking Dead, Black Lightning, Netflix's Lost in Space, and The 100, among others.


Marvel Television also made its presence known at the convention, with a premiere of its new series Cloak and Dagger, and also holding its annual panel for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Clark Gregg, star of Shield, was unable to attend due to his participation in the March for our Lives in Washington, D.C.


Authors and comic book special guests were also out in force, with guests including Sergio Aragones, Gail Simone, Patrick Rothfuss, Kevin Hearne, Larry Hama and Laini Taylor.
