Governor Mike Pence made his third appearance in Arizona as the Vice Presidential pick of Republican nominee Donald Trump, this time at Living Word Bible Church in Mesa, Arizona, where he spoke to a gathered congregation of church-goers and supporters.
Pence spoke primarily about his faith, and upbringing, saying to attendees that he describes himself as a "Christian, conservative, and a Republican, in that order," a line he has used regularly on the campaign trail.
Pastor Tom Anderson introduced Pence, and also engaged the Governor in a series of questions after he had delivered his initial remarks, asking about his family life, and how faith has played a part in his life.
The audience consisted mostly of regular attendees at the Living Word Bible Church, but also brought in a number of loyal Trump supporters to listen to Christian music, learn about the church, and hear from the Governor of Indiana. There were several hundred in attendance.
