VP pick Mike Pence brings Trump campaign back to Phoenix
8:54:00 AMGage SkidmoreAlthough it was an unusually rainy day in Phoenix, Republican Vice Presidential nominee Mike Pence made two stops in the Grand Canyon state to bring the message of Donald Trump's campaign to Arizona voters.
Trump spoke in Phoenix only a handful of weeks ago, and Pence marked the campaign's return to the state traditionally seen as a conservative stronghold. Pence held town halls in both Tucson and Phoenix, and also held a fundraiser in Phoenix according to the state Republican Party chairman.
In addition to delivering remarks about his and Trump's vision for the country, Pence took time to answer questions from the audience, as the event was promoted as being a "town hall."
The event took place downtown at the Phoenix Convention Center, where Trump had previously spoke last summer almost immediately after announcing his Presidential bid.
