Immediately after this year's San Diego Comic Con, I made my way all the way to the other side of the country, to Washington, D.C., in order to attend the annual Young Americans for Liberty National Convention.
This year's theme was "Be the next," which encouraged attendees to take up the mantle of such famed libertarian leaders as Ron Paul, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Penn Jillette, and Justin Amash, all of whom spoke at this year's convention.
Young Americans for Liberty was started after Ron Paul's 2008 bid, and has grown to more than 700 chapters nationwide on college campuses. Students seek to promote the ideals of freedom, smaller government, lower taxes, and reducing the intrusion of government into the lives of Americans.
Former Congressman and three time Presidential candidate Ron Paul opened this year's convention with his keynote speech, and took the time to take photos with each attendees after concluding his remarks.
This was the first year that Judge Andrew Napolitano and Penn Jillette addressed the convention.
