The 2nd Annual Southwest Cannabis Conference & Expo took place in Phoenix this year, at the Phoenix Convention Center, with hundreds of marijuana activists gathering to celebrate the cannabis industry, and rally support for Prop 205, which hopes to legalize marijuana in Arizona.


More than 300 exhibitors were on hand to discuss the business of cannabis, and provide the opportunity to get involved with a business that has grown exponentially following the recreational legalization of marijuana in Colorado and several other states.


Marvin Washington, a former NFL player and Super Bowl winner, was also one of the conference's keynote speakers, and has became an entrepreneur in the cannabis industry.


According to recent polling, Prop 205's chance of passing is considered a tossup. Several other states, including California, are also considering similar measures on the November ballot.
