Governor Doug Ducey and U.S. Congresswoman Martha McSally headlined a rally at the Yavapai County Courthouse on Monday evening, on the eve of the midterm elections. The rally is held every election cycle, and has been a tradition for Republicans dating back to U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater.

Statewide office candidates also spoke at the event, including Mark Brnovich for Attorney General, Steve Gaynor for Secretary of State, Kimberly Yee for State Treasurer and Frank Riggs for Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Prior to the election, every statewide office was occupied by Republicans, and they hope to keep each office in Republican hands after election day.

Several hundred supporters gathered on the steps of the courthouse, which most recently hosted the election eve rally for U.S. Senator John McCain in 2016, before his passing in 2018. Cindy McCain, the widow of John McCain, spoke at this year's rally as well, in addition to McCain's former Senate colleague Jon Kyl.
