Peggy Noonan, speechwriter for then-President Ronald Reagan, was the keynote speaker for the 2016 Goldwater Dinner, speaking to several hundred guests and attendees about the conservative message that Reagan helped to inspire, as well as her experiences with former Senator Barry Goldwater.


In addition to Noonan, who is also known for her contributions to the Wall Street Journal, Barry Goldwater, Jr. and Grover Norquist also spoke, as well as a live auction prior to the keynote speech.


Noonan is a five-time New York Times best selling author, and has frequently appeared on shows such as NBC's Meet the Press and ABC's This Week.
