The Sandra Day O'Connor Institute hosted its 2016 Dinner with Jefferson on Friday night, and this year's keynote speaker was Jon Meacham, who recently published his book on Jefferson titled "Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power."


The event took place at the Arizona Biltmore hotel. Sandra Day O'Connor also made an appearance at the dinner, welcoming the many guests and attendees before the event began, and appearing at the head table on the main stage.


Former U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, one of only 11 people to serve as Senator from Arizona, introduced Meacham, and conducted a Q&A following his remarks.
